A 25-year-old police officer’s wife, Firdausi Muhammad, has expressed gratitude after surviving a cesarean section to deliver triplets in Dutse Local Government Area, Jigawa State.
The successful delivery, which occurred on Saturday at Dutse General Hospital, brought joy to the family, as the mother and her three babies – a boy and two girls – are reportedly in good health.
In an interview, the new mother revealed her surprise at the outcome.
“When I went for a scan, the result showed twins, but to my surprise, I delivered triplets,” she shared.
Firdausi expressed her gratitude to God and appealed for assistance from well-meaning Nigerians to care for the babies.
“I call on the Jigawa State Governor, Umar Namadi, and others to support us in taking care of the children,” she pleaded.
Her husband, a junior police officer named Dayyabu, also expressed his excitement and gratitude.
“I am overjoyed that my wife safely delivered triplets, contrary to the earlier scan. It’s a great blessing for us,” he said.
The family urged prayers and support to ensure the continued good health of the mother and babies.
